WIPs of Princess Celestia

Step 1: Sketched on paper.
Step 2: Cleaned up the line art in Photoshop.
Step 3: Decided upon pastel color palette. All whites have to be changed to creams, all blacks & greys into browns.
Step 4: Rehair.
Step 5: Paint the hair with one color first.
Step 6: Change the color of the hair into bands of different colors.
Step 7: Mane is almost complete. Still looks kinda matted, need to add stray hairs later.
Step 8: Proceed to create wings.
Step 9: Rainbow wings are changed to beige.
Step 10: Added some purple on her skin & feathers, & they have to match each other.
Step 11: Add the accessories: crown, necklace & shoes.
Step 12: Clouds line art.
Step 13: Make the swirls using 3 tones & the Smudge Tool.
Step 14: Rays & some highlights on the clouds.
Step 15: Completion.
