Soldier Beetle

Soldier Beetle Fairy. It has nothing to do with being a soldier fairy. The 2 words 'soldier beetle' is the name for a particular type of beetle- a soldier beetle. Soldier beetles were named & described for having shells reminiscent of the 'red coats' of early British soldiers. They feed on nectar and pollen.
Character Design: She has a pair of high-backed shells behind her. The inner sides of her shells & helmet are patterned with circular prints. Her wings are positioned at waist-level lifting her in a way that is causing her to bend forward alil.
